The York Region Export Development Program familiarizes local companies with the programs and information needed to succeed in the global marketplace.  All of the services offered under this program are FREE.

 

Established in 2005, the York Region Export Development Program encourages York Region firms to increase export sales by leveraging the combined export knowledge and resources of the Federal Government, Ontario Government the Regional Municipality of York and key non profit organizations.

Learn about the many benefits of exporting, as well as the policies and step-by-step processes by participating in one-on-one consultations, or professional seminars.  

 

Determine whether you are ready for exporting. We will help you outline critical human, financial and distribution issues. 

 

Find out who your buyers are. Learn about the buying patterns and payment practices in different global markets. 

 

Receive contact information for the Canadian Trade Commissioners as well as relevant business and trade associations.

The York Region Export Resource Guide is an internet resource guide that offers information on all aspects of exporting, from assessing export readiness, preparing an export plan and research, to selecting markets. It offers links to government and other websites providing information on export leads, export price determination, and finance and insurance.
