York Region Tourism was established within the Planning and Development Services Department, Economic Development Branch of the Regional Municipality of York in 2000.
The department's purpose is to collaborate with the Region's nine municipalities and tourism business stakeholders to aid in the economic development of the Region's urban and rural communities.
