Programs and Services Info for Partners/Providers
How much financial assistance is a Employment and Financial Support client entitled to?
That depends on many things: the number of people in the family, the cost of accommodation, your current income and assets, the presence of special needs, child support payments. The basic needs amount helps with the cost of food and shelter.

The basic needs amounts shown here are amounts that clients, depending on their individual situation, may receive. All clients receive a drug card and may receive other benefits if they are eligible.

Family Composition Maximum Basic Needs Amount (Effective December 2010)
Single person $592
Client & spouse $1021
Client, spouse & 1 child $1070*
Client & 2 children $971*
Client, spouse & 3 children $1177*
*Approximate amounts only. Age of children and accommodation costs affects monthly entitlement amounts.

All Employment and Financial Support applicants must have a financial "needs test" completed to determine if they are eligible for Employment and Financial Support.
