Employment Placement with Incentives program

The Employment Placement with Incentives program is intended to give participants an opportunity for on-the-job training while receiving wages for employment. Employers who have enrolled in the Employment Placement with Incentives program return over and over, allowing us to help build their winning team.

Benefits of enrolling in the Employment Placement with Incentives program:

• Save on advertising and recruitment costs
• You may qualify for a training subsidy – an average of $2000 for every individual hired through the program
• There will be no increase in your Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) coverage should an injury occur, because York Region offers insurance coverage.
