How To Use The Map
By clicking on a census tract (outlined in yellow), the ethnic origin of the recent immigrants living in that census tract will appear. Each census tract will indicate the most dominant ethnic groups amongst recent immigrants. Ethnic origin can be a useful indicator of the religion, cultural characteristics, sense of identity, values, customs, language and family life of recent immigrants.
