The Early Development Instrument (EDI) measures kindergarten children's readiness to learn in the school environment.
This new website is a resource that provides York Region neighbourhood EDI results. It will continue to evolve as new information is added.
The first phase is now complete and includes the following information:
- EDI results at the domain level for all 64 neighbourhoods in York Region
- A printable report for each neighbourhood
The following enhancements are under development:
- EDI results at the subdomain level
- The addition of 2012 EDI results
