How To Use The Map
By clicking on a census tract (outlined in yellow), the knowledge of Canada's official languages of the recent immigrants living in that census tract will appear. Each census tract will indicate the percentage of the recent immigrants by knowledge of English, French, English and French or Non-official language. This information can be used to determine what translation services are needed to promote and provide services. It is also key for connecting with new Canadians so they can be made part of the community.
