GFOA 2005 Distinguished Budget Award

The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada presented The Regional Municipality of York with its Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the 2005 annual budget. The award reflects the commitment of the governing body and staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting. This is the first time York Region has received the award and represents a signifcant achievement.
