Every year in Canada, approximately 70 children under the age of five die in motor vehicle collisions. Another 4000 are injured. These are all preventable fatalities and injuries if the car seats and seat belts are used properly.

Using car seats correctly and consistently not only will save your child's life, it is also required by law in Ontario. The Highway Traffic Act (HTA) requires that only child safety seats that meet the Canadian Standards can be used to transport children.
