The York Region Health Services Influenza Pandemic Contingency Plan outlines the actions carried out by the Health Services Department in order to prepare for, respond to and recover from an influenza pandemic in York Region. The plan also provides information on partnerships with local area municipalities, health care facilities and key agencies for response coordination.

 

It is recognized that the response strategies may be impacted by the epidemiology of the pandemic as it unfolds around the world as well as directives from the Provincial Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
