Regional Streetscape Policy
Description of Policy
The Regional Streetscape Policy promotes high quality streetscape and urban design within the Region. The policy outlines three levels of streetscape enhancement conditions which focus on improving the public realm and supporting intensification within Regional Centres (as identified in the Regional Official Plan). The development of the 2001 Regional Streetscape Policy development included consultations with the Region's nine local municipalities, as well as additional area stakeholders will be updated in 2011.
