Mid-York East-West Transportation Study

The Mid-York East-West Transportation Improvements Feasibility and Preliminary Engineering Study has been completed. Its purpose was to look at alternatives for improving access to Highway 400 in the mid-York area (north of Teston Road and south of Highway 9) and to reduce traffic congestion on King Road through King City.  The need to address these issues was identified in the Transportation Master Plan and confirmed through the Study analysis, leading to a recommended set of feasible alternatives to be carried forward into the EA phase. The EA is planned to commence once an alignment for the GTA West Corridor is confirmed.
