Earth Week Fair
Tuesday, April 17
8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
York Region Administrative Centre, 17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket
 
MORE THAN 20 EXHIBITORS! Check out the Tap'd In Mobile water truck, talk to Regional
staff about environmental programs and initiatives, passport for visiting fair exhibits,
Earth-friendly giveaways and more. The first 200 attendees will receive a FREE tree
seedling to plant in their yard!

Celebrate Spring at the Spring Forest Festival
Saturday, April 28
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
York Regional Forest, North Tract, 17054 Hwy 48, Stouffville
 
Celebrate spring by planting trees and learn about our forest partners
and Greening Strategy.

Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through the forest. Hold slithery,
"Sciensational" snakes in your hands. Hike with our forester at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to
learn how to identify trees in the forest. Take a ride on the bus to the planting site
(for free). Take home a tree seedling to plant.
Don't forget to bring your work gloves and shovel!

Community Planting Event
Saturday, May 5
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
90 Bales Drive East, East Gwillimbury
 
Hosted by CAA and Trees Ontario providing trees, mulch and snacks. 
The Community Planting day is designed to bring together CAA members, families,
friends and community members promoting community engagement and environmental
action. The event engages communities in local reforestation projects and builds
awareness around the importance of trees, shade and green urban spaces.
Don't forget to bring your work gloves and shovel!
