End Aggressive Driving

Report It!

ROAD WATCH is a community-based initiative that gives residents and visitors an opportunity to report dangerous/aggressive drivers to the local Police Department. The ROAD WATCH Program targets dangerous driving through awareness, education and enforcement.

The Program Beginnings
ROAD WATCH was initiated in 1995 by a group of concerned citizens in the community of Caledon. The number of fatal collisions in that community was growing at an alarming rate. Since that time, the ROAD WATCH program has been adopted by a number of other communities throughout Ontario, including York Region.

How ROAD WATCH Works
Community members and motorists are asked to complete a Citizen Report Form when they observe a motorist demonstrating unsafe driving behaviour. The forms are held in the strictest confidence by the Police.
