Regional Chair to make major transit announcementsNEWMARKET – Bill Fisch, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Municipality of York, will announce several major transit initiatives this week. Following the York Regional Council meeting on Thursday May 16th, Chair Fisch is expected to announce the selection of a private sector partner for the York Rapid Transit Plan (YRTP).
