York Region hosts Press Conference regarding Exercise Timothy

NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York will host a joint press conference regarding Exercise Timothy on May 29, 2002.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 29, 2002

TIME: 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Seminar Room York Region Administrative Centre, 17250 Yonge St., Newmarket

PARTICIPANTS:

  • Bill Fisch, Regional Chair and CEO
  • Mayor Tom Taylor, Town of Newmarket
  • Gary McNeil, Managing Director of GO Transit
  • Russ Smye, York Region Manager of Emergency Measures

Note: The Regional Emergency Operations Centre (REOC) will not be open to the media during the mock exercise.
