Media Briefing: Dr. Hanif Kassam, Associate Medical Officer of Health, will speak to the issue of adulticiding at a media briefing on Monday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the Great Hall, York Region Administrative Centre.

Newmarket – York Region Health Services is offering a second series of West Nile virus public information open houses in all nine area municipalities. This series will include information on the York Region West Nile virus control strategy's option to use malathion to control the adult mosquito population and reduce the risk of exposure to West Nile virus.
