York Region Sexual Health Clinics resume


NEWMARKET – York Region's Sexual Health Clinics will resume the week of May 19th following a six-week temporary closure because of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) emergency.

Sexual Health Clinics provide confidential, free services, including counselling and education on contraception, sexually transmitted infections, AIDS, sexual orientation, sexuality and relationships. Pregnancy testing, counselling and referral, HIV (AIDS) testing and the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections are also available.

Clinics are located at the following:

  • 22 Prospect Street in Newmarket
  • 4261 Highway #7 in Unionville (Markham)
  • South Services Centre, 50 High Tech Road, Richmond Hill
