Workshop on Interviewing Across Cultures

NEWMARKET – Understanding culture and communication styles is essential for effective hiring practices.  Obtain practical strategies for overcoming cultural challenges in recruiting internationally trained workers with York Region's It's All Here Initiative's learning forum.

The three-hour workshop takes place on Wednesday November 26, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. to
12:00 p.m. at Seneca College, King Campus.

Participants will gain awareness and knowledge of cultural dimensions and communication styles that impact job candidates.

There is active competition for internationally trained workers across the world. York Region employers need the skills immigrants bring.

You can register by phone or fax. For more information about the Learning Forum contact Catherine Quattrin at 905 833-3333 ext. 5053.
