York Region and Ontario Nurses’ Association reach tentative deal on new collective agreement

NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York and the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) have reached a tentative collective agreement on a new three-year contract following nine hours of mediated negotiations yesterday.

Both parties signed a tentative settlement agreement last night, and each party has agreed to ratify the tentative settlement within two weeks.
