York Region invites proposals from community service agencies for 2005 projects

    
 
NEWMARKET –  The Regional Municipality of York invites community service agencies to submit proposals for funding of projects that deliver services to vulnerable residents of York Region.  Proposals will be accepted for projects relating to one or more of the following:
 
  • Capacity building and sustainability
  • Employment and financial supports
  • Family and children’s services
  • Homelessness services
 
Projects may be funded under York Region’s Community Development and Investment Funding (CDIF) strategy and/or the Government of Canada’s Supporting Communities Partnership Initiative (SCPI).
 
Interested agencies can obtain a Request for Proposal (RFP) package in person from the Supplies and Services Branch of York Region, located at 17250 Yonge Street in Newmarket.  Ask for Proposal # P-04-70.  RFP packages can also be couriered upon request.
 
An information meeting on this RFP will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room of the York Region Administrative Centre at 17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket.
