Snowshoe in the York Regional Forest

NEWMARKET - February is Heart Health month. You can improve your family's health and reduce the risk of developing heart disease by being physically active … even in the snow.

The York Region Transportation and Works Forestry Section, in partnership with York Region Health Services, are hosting a Snowshoe Walk on Saturday February 21st at the York Regional Forest Headquarters.

Enjoy the outdoors with your family and try a new winter sport. Snowshoes and demonstrations on how to use them will be provided.   Remember to dress warmly.

(east side of Hwy 48 between Vivian and Aurora Roads)
