Bird watching in the York Regional Forest

 
NEWMARKET – Join a naturalist for a spring morning walk in the York Regional Forest.  Along the way, listen for and be acquainted with some of the spring migratory birds.  Stop in a deciduous woodland to view and identify spring wildflowers.  Don't forget your camera or sketchbook!
 
Time:  Saturday, May, 15, 2004
  10:00 a.m. to noon
 
Place:  York Regional Forest
  Headquarters Hollidge Tract
  East of Highway 48, north of Aurora Road
 
Cost:  Free
 
The York Regional Forest conducts free Forest Walks each month.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by and adult.  Long sleeved shirts and pants are recommended.
