Official unveiling of the York Region Heart Health QuiltNEWMARKET York Region Health Services celebrates the official unveiling of the York Region Heart Health Quilt. The quilt will be used to promote a heart healthy lifestyle through community events and displays. The quilters will be recognized as part of the events festivities. WHEN: February 14, 2005

17250 Yonge St., Newmarket BACKGROUND: The Heart Health Quilt was crafted by quilters from across York Region including staff from York Region Health Services. Each quilted square presents a different heart health message, unique to each artist in design and focus. Be heart healthy:

Eat a healthy diet Live tobacco-free Manage stress The event includes educational displays from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, heartyparty.com York Region Heart Health Program, York Region Emergency Medical Services and the York Region Health Services Chronic Disease Prevention Team.
