Come enjoy the Fall Forest Festival at theYork Regional Forest

 
NEWMARKET – Enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride and along the way meet members of the Regional Forest Advisory Team. Enjoy a dog sledding exhibit and take a 6 km guided hike of the forest with members of the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail Association from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
 
Landowners will receive insight from the York Environmental Stewardship Council about private woodlot stewardship on guided walks at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
 
When:  Saturday, September 17th
  10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
 
Where: York Regional Forest – Eldred King Woodlands
  16232 Highway 48 (West side, 2 km north of Aurora Road)
 
Admission:  Free!
 
The Fall Forest Festival is one of 12 free, family-friendly events hosted by York Forestry and the Regional Forest Advisory Team.  The events take place each month.
