Woodbine Avenue re-opened between Davis Drive and Green Lane

 

 

NEWMARKET – York Region has re-opened Woodbine Avenue between Davis Drive and Green Lane in the Towns of Newmarket and East Gwillimbury.

 

The road was re-opened following the successful repair of a hydro line that had fallen across Woodbine Avenue.  The damage was the result of the severe thunderstorm that travelled through York Region on Monday night. 

 

York Region would like to thank Hydro One for their hard work in completing the repairs as quickly as possible, and the residents and businesses in the area for their co-operation while the road was closed.
