May is Rabies Awareness Month

NEWMARKET – York Region Health Services in partnership with the Town of Newmarket and the Canadian Veterinary Association will hold a low-cost rabies clinic. Pet owners are encouraged to attend and have their dog/cat (over 3 months of age) vaccinated against rabies.

 

There is only one clinic available in the Region this year that offers a discounted rate. The details are as follows:

 

WHERE: Hollingsworth Arena – 35 Patterson Street, Newmarket
 (just off Davis Drive between Prospect Street and Leslie Street)

 

WHEN: Sunday, May 28, 2006
 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

COST: $15.00
