York Region experiencing white-out conditions on roads

 

 

NEWMARKET – Roads Transportation staff with The Regional Municipality of York are urging drivers to exercise extra caution as high winds and snow are causing white-out conditions on many of our Regional roads.

 

With intermittent gusts of wind causing greatly decreased visibility throughout the Region, drivers should reduce speed and take extra care around other motorists.

 

York Region’s Roads Transportation branch has snow removal equipment in operation to ensure that drifting snow is removed from Regional roadways.
