York Region Community Flu Shot Clinics make it easy to get the vaccine, not the fluThis year, York Region Community and Health Services will kick off the 2007/2008 flu campaign at the York Region Administrative Centre. Dr. Karim Kurji, York Region’s Medical Officer of Health and Director of Public Health Programs and Joann Simmons, Commissioner of York Region’s Community and Health Services Department, will receive their annual flu vaccination. Dr. Kurji will also be available for media interviews. Following the media event, the first community flu clinic of the season will take place.
