Road closure this weekend at railway tracks on Highway 27 between Royalpark Avenue and Martin Grove Road

 

NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York will be closing Highway 27 between Royalpark Avenue and Martin Grove Road in the City of Vaughan from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 13th, to accommodate repairs to the railway tracks on Highway 27.

 

Paid duty officers will be stationed south of the intersection of Highway 27 and Rutherford Road and north of the intersection of Highway 27 and Highway 7 for the duration of the closure to assist with traffic.

 

Signs have been posted to notify motorists of the closure.  Notification flyers have also been distributed to area businesses and residents.

 

Motorists should expect delays and/or plan alternate routes of travel for the duration of the closure.
