In celebration of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, May 18th to 24th
NEWMARKET – York Region Emergency Medical Services (EMS) paramedics will grant a wish to a deserving child from the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada in celebration of EMS Week,
May 18th to 24th.
The 10-year-old York Region resident, Khaleel Alfred, will become a paramedic for the day. He will be outfitted with a uniform, travel with York Region paramedics touring EMS stations and facilities across York Region and learn life saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic first aid techniques.
