The Regional Municipality of York presents the Planet in Focus Cross Canada Tour

The Regional Municipality of York is pleased to continue our partnership with Canada’s premiere environmental film festival, the Planet in Focus International Environmental Film & Video Festival, as part of its Cross Canada Tour.

TIME:  7 p.m.
 
WHEN : Tuesday,  May 27 - Travels by Tricycle:  For more than a year, 74-year old Wang Yimin cycles across China on a custom built tricycle trailer with his 98-year-old mother sitting in the back.  It’s a cross-country tour, motored by a son’s devotion. (English subtitles)
The Regional Municipality of York Administrative Centre is easily accessible by public transit including VIVA and YRT.  Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Those arriving by transit will receive a $2 discount by showing a valid transfer.  All proceeds will be forwarded to the not-for-profit Planet in Focus International Environmental Film and Video Festival (www.planetinfocus.org)
