The Regional Municipality of York to hold Remembrance Day CeremonyMembers of the public are welcome to attend ceremony in honour of war veteransNEWMARKET The Regional Municipality of York will hold a Remembrance Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11th, beginning at 10:40 a.m. Members of the public and media representatives are welcome to join Regional staff for the ceremony.

Armand La Barge, York Regional Police Chief Bruce Macgregor, York Region Chief Administrative Officer York Regional Police and Emergency Medical Services Colour Guards BACKGROUND:
Two minutes of silence will be observed at 11:00 a.m.
The ceremony will feature York Regional Police and York Region Emergency Medical Services Colour Guards; York Regional Police Detective and Piper Peter Fleming and Police Constable Danielle Morrison of York Regional Police, who will perform O Canada and God Save the Queen
This years ceremonies will be broadcast to York Regional employees located at 90 Bales Drive in the Town of East Gwillimbury and 50 High Tech Road in the Town of Richmond Hill.
