Carville Road restricted to two lanes between Bathurst Street and Yonge Street in Town of Richmond Hill

NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York has reduced Carville Road to one lane in each direction between Bathurst Street and Yonge Street in the Town of Richmond Hill as work crews from the town continue to repair an earlier watermain break. 

 

Town staff report that the repair efforts will proceed through the evening and will likely continue throughout the Wednesday morning and evening rush hour.

 

Commuters are advised to detour to Major Mackenzie Drive or Highway 7 to avoid traffic delays.
 
York Region thanks motorists for their patience as these emergency repairs are completed.  Updates will be provided as repairs progress.
