February 12, 2010 Keeping up-to-date with school age immunizations just got easier

York Region offers community clinics for students to catch up on routine immunizations

NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York is hosting monthly community immunization clinics for school age children throughout 2010. These clinics provide students and parents or guardians with a convenient opportunity to keep immunization records up-to-date.
These clinics are particularly beneficial for students who are due for routine immunizations, need one or more immunizations to avoid being suspended from school or missed a school immunization clinic.
Residents with school age children are invited to these 2010 clinics:

Town of Newmarket	York Region Public Health 22 Prospect Street Map	3^rd Thursday of every month 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
City of Vaughan	Vaughan Community Health Centre, 9401 Jane St. Bldg A, Suite 206 Map	4^th Tuesday every other month, beginning Jan 26^th 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Town of Georgina	90 Wexford Drive, Keswick Georgina Ice Palace all purpose room Map	4^th Tuesday every other month, beginning Feb 23^rd 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Immunizations provided at these clinics are available to residents of Ontario at no cost and appointments are not necessary.
