Full road closure will be in effect east of Woodbine Avenue
NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York will close Aurora Road between Woodbine Avenue and Warden Avenue in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville tomorrow (Thursday) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. to allow CN Rail staff to make emergency repairs to the rail crossing.
The emergency repair work was originally scheduled to take place today, but was postponed at the request of CN Rail due to high temperatures.
York Region thanks affected residents and motorists as CN Rail completes the repair work.
