Forecasted hot weather to delay CN Rail repair efforts on Aurora Road in Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville

Repairs tentatively re-scheduled for tomorrow
NEWMARKET – Representatives from CN Rail today have advised The Regional Municipality of York that repair efforts to the rail crossing on Aurora Road east of Woodbine Avenue in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville will be delayed due to forecasted hot weather.
 
CN Rail has tentatively re-scheduled its emergency work for tomorrow (Thursday), when cooler weather is forecast.
 
Aurora Road will remain open until repair work commences. 
 
York Region thanks residents and motorists for their patience as CN Rail completes the emergency rail repairs.
