OTHER BUSINESS

 

1. The Committee expressed its condolences on the recent passing of Dr. Sheila Basrur, former Provincial Chief Medical Officer of Health. Dr. Kurji commented on Dr. Basrur's superior communication skills and her calming nature, specifically during the SARS crisis and highlighted some of her initiatives during her time as Chief Medical Officer of Health.

 

 

The Health and Emergency Medical Services Committee adjourned at 2:58 p.m.
