The Transportation and Works Committee elected Mayor Emmerson as Chair and Mayor Grossi as Vice-Chair of the Committee for the year 2008. Received and referred to staff. 7. Mayor Emmerson submitted a communication from the residents of OTHER BUSINESS 8. Bruce Macgregor, Chief Administrative Officer, introduced Erin Mahoney, who will assume the position of Commissioner of Environmental Services effective January 21, 2008. 9. The Committee recognized and extended their appreciation to Debbie Korolnek, General Manager, Water and Wastewater, for her fifteen years of dedicated service to the Region, and wished her well in her new position in the private sector. PRIVATE SESSION The committee resolved into private session at 9:56 a.m. to consider the following matters: 10. Private Attachment to Item D9 Commissioner of Corporate Services (Acquisition of Land, Various Projects) – Acquisition of Property. 11. Private Attachment to Item D11 Commissioner of Corporate Services (Expropriation Settlement, 12.
