Mac Bain, Chairperson, North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit, dated October 13, 2009, forwarding a resolution regarding 'Food Safety and Foodborne Illness'. Received. 2. Kim Baker, Chief Executive Officer, Cenetral LHIN, News Release, November 30, 2009 regarding Central LHIN Releases Integrated Health Service Plan 2010-2013. Received. OTHER BUSINESS 3. Service Indicators for Social Assistance and Housing David Rennie, General Manager, Social Services, provided an update on the most current statistics for social assistance and housing for November 2009. The Ontario Works caseload has decreased by 20 cases (0.4%) in November over the previous month. Overall, however, the caseload has increased by 21.5% since November 2008. The net Ontario Works Allowance and Benefit expenditures exceed the 2009 year-to-date budget by approximately $656,000. The year end forecast is now projected to be $740,000 over budget versus earlier forecasts of $1,400,000, due to lower than anticipated caseload. The number of households on the rent geared-to-income waiting list increased 1.2% in November, which is 11.7% higher than December 2008. Received.
