PRESENTATION

 

1. Project Update on the Progress of the Environmental Assessment for the Highway 407 Transitway from Highway 400 to Kennedy Road [10MB]

 

Robb H. Minnes, Project Director, Ministry of Transportation and Khaled El-Dalati, Consultant Project Manager, Delcan Corporation, provided an overview of the study purpose and scope, including the design of a high-speed cross-regional transit facility to be constructed on a separate right-of-way that parallels Highway 407 ETR between Highway 400 and Kennedy Road. Received.

 

 

PRIVATE SESSION

 

The Committee resolved into private session at 11:00 a.m. to consider the following:

 

2. Private Report of the Vice President, York Region Rapid Transit Corporation - Cornell Terminal Go Forward – Property Acquisition.

 

The Committee resumed in public session at 11:22 a.m. with no report out.  The Committee's recommendation on the above matter will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its April 23, 2009 Private Session.

 

 

The Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee adjourned at 11:22 a.m.
