OTHER BUSINESS
15. The Commissioner of Community and Health Services introduced and welcomed York Region's new Associate Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Lillian Yuan.
16. Discussion of the development of a national childcare strategy. The Committee recommended that staff be requested to prepare a resolution for Council's consideration, requesting the Federal Government to bring forward a national childcare strategy.
