Emerald Ash Borer: What York Region is Doing
    Red Pine Decline

    Emerald Ash Borer Information Night

Your Ash Trees Are At Risk

All ash trees in York Region will be attacked by the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), including the 700,000 growing in neighborhoods like yours. This invasive pest tunnels underneath the bark, cutting off the flow of water and nutrients and killing the tree within a few years. You may already be noticing dead and dying trees in your community.

Join us for Emerald Ash Borer Information Night:
    Wednesday, May 29, 2013
    7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Seminar Room - York Region Administrative Centre
    17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket, ON L3Y 6Z1

    Learn about:

    • How EAB affects you
    • How you can protect your trees
    • Tree planting programs and resources from LEAF - Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests

For more information about EAB and to pre-register for the night, call 905-830-4444 extension 5119.
