Yard Waste Label

As an alternative to using kraft paper bags, York Region residents may also use a reusable container displaying a yard waste label.
 
Please put this label on your reusable container (i.e. an old garbage can) and ensure that your container faces the street so collection crews can see the label. Alternatively, you can adhere a couple of stickers to your container(s) so it (they) can be seen from the street regardless of the container's orientation.
 
If you do use a reusable container to set out your leaf and yard waste material, please remember to use it for your leaf and yard waste material ONLY.  Please do not use the same container for your garbage.
 
PLEASE REMEMBER:  DO NOT PLACE THE STICKER ON THE PAPER BAGS.
