York Region Waste Management plans, finances and delivers environmentally sound waste diversion and disposal programs. This includes Blue Box and Green Bin processing, management
of waste drop-off depots and transportation and disposal of municipally collected waste. The nine local municipalities manage curb side collection of garbage, Blue Box, Green Bin and yard waste.
