This program provides housing support services and essential homemaking to older adults for them to stay in the community and remain independent.
Services provided at all sites are tailored to meet each client's individual needs and can include personal care such as help dressing, medication reminders, bathing, meal preparation, security checks, laundry and housework.
Support is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in the clients' apartments at the following locations:

Armitage Gardens 200 Eagle St.
Richmond Hill Genesis Place 39 Crosby Ave.

Who can use the service?
Older adults who:
- need assistance with their daily activities
- want to remain in the community
- wish to remain independent and direct their own care
Is there a Fee for Service?
- The apartment is paid by the client on a "rent geared to income" basis (30% of monthly income) up to market value rent. A subsidy is available upon application.
- A fee for enhanced services also applies at some locations.
