Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer for women. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, behind lung cancer. One in every 9 women has a chance of developing breast cancer in her lifetime. Although breast cancer can affect young women, it is primarily a disease related to aging. Eight out of 10 women who develop breast cancer are over the age of 50. Men are also diagnosed with breast cancer but represent less than 1% of cases*.
