Cancer Prevention and Screening 

 

Research suggests 2 strategies can reduce the risk of developing cancer:

 

• Make healthy lifestyle choices
• Participate in early detection and cancer screening programs

Approximately 50% of cancers that will be diagnosed over the next 20 years can either be prevented or detected early. Eating well, being active and staying at a healthy body weight are the best ways to reduce your risk of cancer*.
