Dental Services for Early Years Centres

York Region provides dental services and information to the Early Years Centres for children ages 0 to 6 years and their parents/caregivers.

Services Include:
  • Dental screening (30-second inspection by a dental hygienist to let parents know if their child needs dental treatment)
  • Information for parents and caregivers about oral health, especially how to prevent and detect early childhood tooth decay
