Preventive Dental Clinics:

Preventive services are offered to children who are identified through dental screening.

Preventive care services
Preventive care services may include:

Cleaning (scaling and polishing) of teeth
Dental health/oral hygiene instruction
Topical fluoride applications
Sealants (visible, white, plastic coatings that are placed in the deep grooves on the first and second permanent molar teeth to make the biting surfaces smooth and help prevent cavities on the biting surfaces)

Who can use preventive care services?

There is no charge for this service. Parental consent and a medical history are required. Youth who attend without a parent must provide a medical history and may be able to consent for their own services.
